Getting ready for the new CNC

In preparation for our new CNC we have moved a manual lathe to another area of the factory so that we can continue to use it. We then removed an old plinth that supported the manual machine and rebuilt a flat base with reinforced concrete. Lastly core drilling took place which will allow the machine to be secure in place.

The power availability had already been checked to ensure that the current electrical supply to the factory could cope with the load. A new electrical cabinet  was installed to connect the machine to the power supply as well as providing connection points for air and water.

It was tight getting the cement mixer into the factory, but all has gone to plan.
